Privacy policy
At TasklyFamily we take your family’s privacy seriously. Here is, with no small print, what data the app uses, why, and what you can do about it.
Who is responsible
The data controller is Jordi Arenas, creator of TasklyFamily. Write to info@tasklyfamily.app with any question or request.
What data we use
- Profile: your name, your colour or profile photo and your language.
- Account: your email, only if you choose to save your account with it. People added by the admin (for example, children without a phone) have no email or account.
- Family activity: chores, points, streaks, prizes and each week’s history.
- Photo proof: if a chore asks for a photo, the image uploaded as proof.
- Notifications: a device identifier to send you reminders, if you turn them on.
What we use it for
Only to make the app work: showing chores and the leaderboard to your family, keeping the history, sending reminders and letting you sign in on another phone. We don’t advertise, sell data or build marketing profiles.
Who can see it
Only the members of your family, inside the app. Photo proof is kept in private storage and can only be viewed from your family’s app.
Where it is stored
On Supabase servers in the European Union (Ireland). To send notifications we use Expo, Google (Android) and Apple (iPhone), which only receive the message and the device identifier.
How long
For as long as the family uses the app. If you leave a family or the admin removes you, your profile is no longer part of it. You can ask us to delete your account and data at any time.
Children
Children’s profiles are created by an adult in the family, who decides what information is added. Children without a phone have no account of their own.
Your rights
You can ask for access, correction, deletion or portability of your data, or object to its use, by writing to info@tasklyfamily.app. If you think we haven’t handled your request properly, you can complain to your data protection authority.
